It was a great first day at Microsoft Inspire in Las Vegas. This is a Partner only event and there are partners from 132 countries present with the highest attendance to date. The morning was kicked off by a great concert performance by Kishi Bashi. Then Gavriella Schuster, Corporate Vice President, One Commercial Partner, discussed tools and resources to help partners innovate, grow, and differentiate their businesses. Gavriella pointed out that we are well into the era of Digital Transformation with the first 3 quarters financial results from Microsoft confirming the acceptance. The numbers are as follows:
Office 365 experienced 42% growth
Dynamics 365 is up 65%
Azure is up 93%
Gavriella indicated that this is a 4.5 trillion dollar market and that there has never been a better time to be a Microsoft Partner or Customer. She believes that we have our best year to date coming up!
Judson Althoff, EVP, Worldwide Commercial Business then took center stage. He reinforced the Microsoft Mission to “Empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.” Judson as well indicated that 2018 was a landmark year and indicated that the partner network is responsible for making Digital Transformation come to life.
Judson also believes that there is no better place to invest that in a D365 practice. Well that was music to the ears of ABS! The heart of the tools that Microsoft is providing ABS to digitally transform our customers encompass:

Microsoft has provided ABS and our clients great products and innovation in all of these areas. The Modern Workplace is of course Office 365. Business Applications include D365 Business Central and D365 Sales. He discussed the infrastructure of Intelligent Cloud and Intelligent Edge and the need to have a Data Estate that will enable artificial intelligence to make optimum suggestions.
In regards to Business Applications Microsoft will be concentrating on empowering employees with better tools and insights for decision making, enabling increased sales through engaging customers more effectively, working to optimize the operations of our joint customers, and enabling customers to transform products they offer through being able to recognize market trends easily and provide agile methodology to improve or create new products.
Our customers should feel secure in knowing that Microsoft is steadily investing in cutting edge and revolutionary products that will transform their companies and allow them to be more competitive in this rapidly changing landscape.
