Project “Madeira” is a business management solution for small and mid-sized organizations that automates and streamlines business processes and helps you manage your business.
Madeira comes with a demo-company called Cronus. You can take a quick tour through the main functionality of the system by selecting the Get Started button on the home page.
If you want to start setting up your own company, select the My Settings option to switch to ‘My Company’:
If you select this it will guide you through a few steps that are needed to setup your own company.
The first one will ask you to set up your new company as a Standard, so it will initialize a lot of setup with default values, which allows you to get started immediately (the evaluation option will create another demo company, so you don’t want that in this case).
The next page that you will be taken to, will ask you to enter your company name and address information, and you can upload your logo (which is going to be printed on the order confirmations, invoices, etc., that you can process in Madeira). The following are examples of the first 2 pages you will be taken to, I’m not including examples of all the pages, they speak for themselves when asking you to enter for example your phone no. and bank details:
So now you have your own company, with your name and address information setup and your logo loaded, al you need is your vendors, customers and your products (items) to start processing your orders. Project Madeira has a streamlined function for that, allowing you to move your master data from Excel files into Madeira.
